As you all know, we are currently in the midst of the winter season. That means a new style of warm, fuzzy, and trendy clothing that you may or may not have seen recently is appearing. This includes a wide variety of flared pants, cozy sweatshirts, boots or slippers, and, of course, the stylish accessories that go with your fashionable winter outfit.

Let’s start off with the classic UGGs. Everyone could use a good pair of these guys because of how truly amazing the quality is. They can be a bit pricey, but they’re totally worth it in the end. You can choose from a large assortment of boot lengths, slippers, styles, colors, and so much more. Their best seller is the classic short UGG boot in the color chestnut (which is also my personal preference). They match up with almost any type of outfit, and they keep your toes warm and toasty in the wintertime.

Another very popular winter fashion item is flare sweatpants. I have to admit, these pants are quite worth the hype around this time. First off, they include the two most important factors when it comes to clothing: style and comfort. These pants are perfect to wear to school or to match with a regular t-shirt on the weekend. The other great thing about the flare sweatpants is that there’s more air flow circulation, so it’s nice and breezy. You could usually find these types of sweatpants at almost any store in the mall.

The next big trendy fashion item is the puffer jacket (seen above). It originally came from the 1990s and is now considered retro. The “puffy” style has been circulating a lot during the wintertime. Lots of people typically wear puffer jackets when running errands, to look classy, or even on fancy ski trips. They radiate fashion and style, which is crucial. But one of the downsides to wearing puffer jackets is that you feel like Baymax from the movie Big Hero 6.

Last but not least, there is the Stanley Cup. And no, I’m not talking about the kind of Stanley Cup that you win in hockey; I’m talking about this massive water bottle that almost every single teenage girl owns (including myself), one of the trendiest items out there for a while now. Why, you may ask? Well, the main reasons why the Stanley Cup has earned its popularity are because of the many different variations and colors they come in, the fact that this cup will keep your drink hot for seven hours, cold for eleven hours, and two whole days iced, as well as its compatibility with all car cup holders. Although the Stanley cup does not fit stably in most backpack cup holders, people just hold onto this huge water bottle around with them all day long, no matter where they go.

With just the right additions to your wardrobe and routine, you can make the winter not only bearable but trendy, too!
