The Brewster High School Semper Fi Club, facilitated by Mr. Gallacher and Mrs. Schumacher, with special participation from Martine Hawthorne, organized a 22 Push-Up Challenge to help raise awareness about veteran suicide.  The push-up challenge is simple: A person records video of him or herself performing 22 push-ups and shares it online in hopes of spreading awareness of the need for veteran suicide prevention, which is measured at 22 suicides per day.  Using the #22SemperfiBearsCare, many students, clubs, teachers and active participants filmed their 22 push-ups and posted them to Twitter.  Please, remember to always honor our veterans and the sacrifices they made for us.
