This is Cynthia Amuso’s 18th year teaching English at Brewster High School.  Ms. Amuso holds a BA degree in English from Trinity College and an MAT in secondary English from Manhattanville College.  Her previous career was spent in books: she managed a bookstore, worked for the publisher GP Putnam & Sons, and loved her nine-year gig as a book buyer for Waldenbooks.  She staunchly defends her generation’s music (60’s and 70’s) as the best music ever produced.  In her spare time, wait…she has no spare time.
